A Brief Overview

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the administration of Safelite's facility maintenance software system (ServiceChannel) and will manage associated work orders for their dedicated region. This position will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering excellent customer service and supporting our field leadership team by ensuring timely response and compliance by Safelite's maintenance contractors.

What You Will Do

• Support Field Operations through daily oversight and management of ServiceChannel work orders this includes monitoring incoming service requests, ensuring timely dispatch and follow-up with vendors, verifying completion and quality of work, and addressing any delays, issues or escalations of urgent matters that arise
• Regularly follow up with vendors to ensure on-time arrival and work order resolutions that adhere to Safelite performance targets
• Communicate with store management team to ensure contractors have access to the space when required and that work was completed to the local store's satisfaction
• Work with the Facility Maintenance Specialist and Manager of Facility Maintenance to identify work orders that require proposals for their review and approval or work orders that require special attention due to health & safety concerns, landlord responsible items, or high visibility/impact situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years Experience and proven success working in a multi-faceted, customer service based environment Required

Skills and Abilities

• Capable of managing detailed data and processes in a high-volume setting
• Technologically capable including experience performing job functions utilizing computer-based software systems
• Strong interpersonal and remote communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate in a positive manner. Comfortable interacting and communicating with field leadership.
• Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail
• Proactive problem solver
• Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
