Facilities Electrician - Genesis Medical Center - 1st Shift

Salary: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour

Job Summary

Electricians are responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems. This is primarily a first shift position. 7am to 3:30pm M-F. You must be able to work multiple shifts, weekends and holidays as well. You will work 3rd shift once a month to perform generator testing.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and making timely repairs.
• Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work safely.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.

Education:

High School Diploma / GED & Certificate of Completion from trade/vocational school.
