Fabrication Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Fabrication Assistant to support operations at a concrete manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with basic fabrication skills and a strong work ethic. Candidates who are comfortable with physical labor and eager to grow are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and assembling crates and concrete forms.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Support welding and fabrication tasks as directed.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• Basic experience in welding, fabrication, and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Work Environment

The work environment is a concrete manufacturing facility where the temperature is naturally cooler, making it more comfortable than outdoor or hot warehouse settings. During winter, the plant is heated to maintain a pleasant working temperature of 65 degrees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richburg, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.
