Department: Facilities Support Operations

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.80 - $29.64 / hour, based on relevant experience

Summary:

Join our team as a skilled painter, where you will enhance the beauty and safety of our facilities. You will apply paints, stains, and other surface treatments to various surfaces, including walls, furniture, and ceilings, while ensuring a polished finish in all work areas.

Responsibilities:

• Apply protective and decorative finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and equipment.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, scraping, sanding, and smoothing before applying finishes.
• Maintain and match existing paint colors for consistency across surfaces.
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are kept clean, safe, and organized in accordance with departmental policies.
• Utilize critical thinking and take decisive action while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Relevant licensure/certification as required for the position.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
