What You'll Do:

• Utilize your medical-surgical nursing expertise to enhance the quality of care and life for patients, families, and significant others.
• Form strong relationships with patients and their families to advocate for their needs and help develop personalized care plans.
• Implement the nursing process effectively, from assessing patient data to creating and executing tailored care plans.
• Address various dimensions of human responses to health problems with compassion and holistic strategies.
• Leverage leadership skills to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and set meaningful goals for health outcomes.
• Participate in collaborative decision-making, ensuring culturally sensitive and ethical care at all times.
• Empower patients and their families through education about health maintenance, restoration, and comfort.
• Foster a supportive and healthy work environment by mentoring colleagues and students.
• Apply evidence-based practices to ensure patient-centered care that meets age-specific and clinical needs.
• Maintain a keen awareness of safety protocols while fulfilling your duties.
• Perform point-of-care testing as required and take on other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: No prior experience required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Physical capability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently and 25-50 lbs occasionally.
• Must have strong visual acuity and auditory skills.

Licensure:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state of practice.
