Are you an experienced electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform critical electrical and electronic maintenance in our busy facility. Here’s what you will be doing:

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on mill equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Repair, modify, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment with precision.
• Complete tasks such as wiring circuits, replacing components, and troubleshooting electronic devices.
• Utilize instruments like multi-meters and Meggers to perform test readings.
• Stay updated on technical changes and equipment designs through ongoing training.
• Adhere to a rotating work schedule, including nights, holidays, weekends, and required overtime.
• Uphold safety regulations by wearing necessary protective equipment and completing required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals.
• Knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with 480-volt power and logic circuits.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and planning abilities.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics without supervision.
• Familiarity with machine control systems and troubleshooting complex machine controls.
• Capacity to identify features and functions of various controllers and distinguish between pneumatic and electronic types.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including on-call shifts for emergencies.
• Strong team player with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VFD drives.
• Familiarity with PLCs and the ability to interpret PLC logic for troubleshooting.
