Job specification
• Assist with activities of daily living, comfort care, and nutritional support for patients.
• Perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks and procedures as directed by licensed professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensure adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, and collect relevant data.
• Transport patients in the hospital, adhering to safety guidelines, while maintaining advanced transport medical knowledge and abilities.
Candidate requirements
• Certified in the State of Virginia as an EMT-Advanced, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic (required).
• BLS, ACLS and HCP certifications from AHA required.
• Must maintain continuing education hours for re-certification as required by State and National standards.
• PALS, Hazardous Materials Awareness, NRP, PHTLS or BTLS required within one year from hire.
