Equipment Coordinator- Operating Room

Are you ready to play a vital role in the heart of surgical care? We're looking for an Equipment Coordinator to help keep our Operating Room running efficiently and safely every day.

In this role, you will:

• Support the surgical team by coordinating case flow and ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready for every procedure.

• Maintain and prepare specialty equipment, including lasers, microscopes, and video towers.

• Partner with Specialty Nurses and SPD to confirm instrument trays are complete and in top condition.

• Plan and organize the following day's equipment needs to keep cases on schedule.

• Manage and restock specialty and orthopedic supplies.

• Report and track any equipment malfunctions to the proper departments.

• Assist with the care and processing of minimally invasive instruments between cases.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts

• Variable start times: 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM

• Limited holidays and weekends required

High School diploma. Surgical related experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 34
