Your work schedule will be:
- Monday - Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm.
The normal work setting for this position will be our Landfill located in Pen Argyl, PA.
As an Entry-Level Heavy Equipment Operator at WM, you will play a critical role in our operations at one of our recycling facilities, which serve over 20 million customers throughout the USA. You will be expected to:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders safely and effectively.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance while maintaining accurate records.
- Transport and position raw materials and finished components using heavy machinery.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
To qualify for the Entry-Level Heavy Equipment Operator position, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- To be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- To successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.

Working conditions may include exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and various weather elements, while also requiring the ability to perform physical tasks, such as handling objects under 30 pounds occasionally.
