In our 1:1 ABA setting, you will work directly with children (18 months to 8 years) utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. Responsibilities of a Behavior Therapist:

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, documenting data, and applying supervisor feedback during observation sessions.
• Facilitate child development through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with a team to enhance treatment quality, ensure safety, and foster a pleasant work environment.
• Engage with children through interactive play, including running, dancing, singing, reading, and playing games while maintaining a joyful atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and address needs.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and interact with children in a dynamic environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and staying active on the floor.
• Maintain a therapy-conducive environment by ensuring play spaces are tidy and organized.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking skills to handle simultaneous tasks and prioritize safety.
• Work cohesively with team members across various locations; travel to nearby centers may be required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

As part of your employment, you will need to complete the RBT certification process within 20 days, which includes passing a 40-hour training program, conducting hands-on assessments, and passing the board exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $16.20 - $23.50
• Bachelors: $17.50 - $27.00
• Masters: $19.00 - $28.00

Entry-level candidates will earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare roles such as nanny or preschool teacher.
• Mental health professionals and advocates.
• Experience as camp counselors, tutors, or Sunday school teachers.
• Degrees in relevant fields such as teaching, special education, or psychology.
• Experience as direct support professionals or life skills assistants.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• A readiness to thrive in a caring, team-oriented workplace.
