In our one-on-one ABA settings, you will directly work with children aged 18 months to 8 years, implementing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive, center-based environment. Your Role as a Behavior Therapist

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their fullest potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, documenting notes, and using feedback from supervisors to improve your techniques.
• Foster growth and development in early childhood (18 months to 8 years) through engaging and joyful therapeutic activities.
• Work collaboratively with a team to enhance treatment quality, ensure safety, and maintain a fun working atmosphere throughout the center.
• Engage actively with children through various play methods including running, dancing, and singing silly songs, as well as quieter activities like reading or playing with toys. Maintaining high energy and enthusiasm is key!
• Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and express personal needs positively.

Requirements for the Role

• Ability to lift and move children up to 30 lbs in a fast-paced environment, including bending, squatting, and actively moving to stay engaged with young children while ensuring a safe and tidy work area.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment that is tidy, organized, and stimulating for children.
• Demonstrate multitasking skills to balance various tasks, interactions, or decisions while prioritizing safety.
• Collaborate effectively with team members as part of a cohesive center, region, and neighborhood, which may involve traveling to nearby centers when needed.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Requirement to be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of your start date by finishing the 40-hour training, passing a hands-on competency assessment, and successfully passing the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $15.50 - $23.50
• Bachelors: $16.50 - $25.50
• Masters: $17.50 - $27.00

For entry-level candidates, your first raise will be awarded upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience

• Childcare experiences such as nannying, babysitting, preschool teaching, or tutoring.
• Experience as mental health professionals or advocates.
• Background as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or similar fields.
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support providers, or life skills assistants.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Willingness to join a caring, team-oriented culture.
