You will work closely with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) in a 1:1 ABA setting, utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. Rest assured, you will have leading supervision and continuous training to help you make a real impact every day!

Your Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist:

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism achieve their maximum potential by adhering to treatment plans, collecting data, writing notes, and integrating feedback from supervisors.
• Promote development through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities tailored for early childhood.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to optimize treatment and ensure a safe, joyful work setting.
• Engage actively with children through various forms of play, keeping a lively atmosphere that fosters joy and learning.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address personal needs.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move with children in a dynamic environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to engage young children.
• Maintain a tidy, organized environment conducive to therapy, creating a stimulating space for children.
• Multitasking skills to balance actions, decisions, or conversations while prioritizing safety.
• Support a cohesive team environment, which may involve traveling to nearby centers when necessary.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED.

Successful candidates will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which involves a 40-hour training course and passing the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50
• Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00
• Masters: $16.00 - $26.00

Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise upon completing the RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Ideal Candidates will have Experience in:

• Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, teacher, etc.)
• Mental health, such as QMHP or behavioral technicians
• Camp counseling or volunteer work
• Degrees in education, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
• Experience as paraprofessionals or direct support workers
• A passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• A desire to join a caring, team-oriented culture
