End to End Payroll Specialist

Our client, a dynamic organization in the human resources and payroll management sector, is seeking a dedicated End to End Payroll Specialist to join their team. As an End to End Payroll professional, you will be part of the Payroll Operations team supporting the organization's payroll processing and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid: On-site Mondays & Tuesdays) Pay Range: $32 - $36

What's the Job?

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees using Workday Payroll
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Review and verify timesheets, deductions, and adjustments for accuracy
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain data accuracy and support payroll audits

What's Needed?

• Proven experience with Workday Payroll or similar payroll systems
• Prior payroll experience in a mid-sized organization (~500 employees)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and reporting requirements (preferred)
