Job Duties:
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on workplace challenges, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and HR policies.
- Coach managers on best practices in performance management, corrective actions, and accurate documentation.
- Act as an employee advocate, ensuring fair treatment while aligning with the organization’s objectives.
- Mediating disputes between employees and supervisors to enhance communication and foster understanding.
- Conduct impartial, thorough, and timely investigations into employee complaints, addressing issues such as attendance, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
- Maintain precise and confidential records of investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee concerns.
- Identify trends and recurring employee relations issues, using insights to drive training and policy improvements.
- Assist in developing and delivering employee relations training and resources to empower staff.
- Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture, employee engagement, and equitable workplace practices.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, focusing on employee relations and leadership coaching.
- Experience conducting investigations and preparing comprehensive reports and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA.
- Proven capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Effective interviewing skills, with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Proficient in documentation, investigation techniques, and case management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.
