Deaconess Illinois is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join our growing team. The emergency medicine physician team is a hospital employed physician group made up of full-time physicians as well as supplemental physicians.

Ideal candidates:

• BC/BE family medicine physician; prior EM experience and/or fellowship training in emergency medicine is preferred but not required.
• Licensed in Illinois (or willing to obtain licensure).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• J1 visa candidates are welcome to apply.

• Competitive compensation: average annual compensation of $330K ($200 per hr).
• Sign on incentives: up to $164K in total incentives, including $50K sign on bonus, and up to $15K in relocation assistance.

Work schedule:

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day: 7am 7pm, night: 7pm 7am).
• Shift requirements: 144 shifts/year (full-time). 1728 hours.
• Patient encounters: average of 30-55 patient encounters in a 24 hour period.
