Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Eau Claire, WI

Eau Claire is a vibrant city in western Wisconsin known for its beautiful riverside parks, thriving arts scene, and excellent quality of life. The area offers outdoor recreation opportunities along the Chippewa River, cultural events, and a welcoming community atmosphere for healthcare professionals.

Facility:

This Level 3 trauma facility serves over 20,000 emergency department visits annually. The facility features 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology. The hospital includes labor and delivery services with occasional newborn deliveries received in the ED.

Opportunity: Emergency Medicine

This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at facilities in both Eau Claire and Rice Lake. Providers will receive full orientation on their first day before beginning shifts. Cross-credentialing at other system locations is available for interested providers with availability.

Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP, ongoing need
• Schedule: Scheduled Shifts Only No Call
• Eau Claire shift times: 6:30a-6:30p, 6:30p-6:30a, 11a-11p, and APC shift 8a-8p
• Rice Lake shift times: 6:30a-6:30p, 6:00p-6:30a, and APC shift 10a-10p
• FM and UC physicians with experience will be considered - ABEM not required
• Inpatient
• EMR: Cerner
• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates with clean records
• Any State License Considered, BC/BE
• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Start date: ASAP, ongoing need

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice coverage included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
