Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Job Summary: As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will play a vital role in providing immediate care to individuals suffering from injuries or medical emergencies. Your responsibilities will include administering essential emergency medical treatment, operating an advanced life support ambulance, and ensuring that all medical equipment is in optimal and sanitary condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians to create a care plan tailored to each patient's needs.
• Lead and coordinate a team of responders to manage triage, develop treatment plans, and prepare patients for transport to medical facilities.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on emergency medical equipment and ensure an adequate supply of inventory on vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the station location.
• Engage professionally with firefighters, law enforcement, and other personnel during emergency responses.
• Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and ensure proper disposal.
• Participate in ongoing training and updates related to Emergency Medical Services and compliance with regulations.
• Operate and utilize ambulances and medical equipment effectively during response situations.
• Act in accordance with the values and policies of the organization while maintaining safety and compliance.
