Electrical Technician
Stewart's Shops is looking for an experienced electrical technician for our production facility. The ideal candidate has the skills to install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
Duties:
- Identify issues, develop plans, and execute solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
- Maintain and repair both mechanical and electrical aspects on various types of production, facility, and utility equipment.
- Install new electrical systems, including conduit runs, wiring, and panel terminations.
- Perform service connections and integrate new equipment into existing plant infrastructure.
- Understand AC/DC motors and VFD motor controls.
- Understand electro and mechanical components.
- Work with digital and analog control devices.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings to plan and execute new installations.
- Handling of conveyors, photo eyes, and limit switches.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in electrical technician role.
- Favored skills: HVAC, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and access controls.
- Ability to work independently or assisting others.
- Safety conscious, able to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to comply with repetitive lifting and spending consecutive hours on your feet.
- Ability to operate power equipment and tools.
Schedule:
Typically Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, includes some nights & weekends.
Pay range is $26-30/hour. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
