Description
ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cutting-edge electronic instrumentation that measures physical processes.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for assignments.
- Apply electrical engineering principles to achieve departmental objectives.
- Confer with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders on engineering projects and products.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
- Provide essential engineering documentation for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to support and test products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish performance specifications.
- Plan and implement research methodologies and procedures to apply electrical theory principles.
- Prepare specifications for the procurement of materials and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated interest and expertise in developing analog and digital circuitry, micro-controllers, field-programmable gate arrays, and power supplies.
- Experience designing high-performance electronic instrumentation (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems and digital signal processing (highly desirable).
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage personal project tasks effectively within individual and team settings.
