Job Description

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• For Lead Teachers: Level 12 or higher on The Registry (or has a relevant Associates' or Bachelors' degree and is willing to become certified) or state-certified Lead Teacher Status
• For Assistant Teachers/Substitutes/Floats: willingness to complete or has already completed Introduction to the Childcare Profession and Infant and Toddler Fundamentals or equivalent.
• Has successfully completed or is willing to complete SIDS, SBS Prevention training, First AID/CPR certification.
• Meets background check eligibility
• Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
• Is highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams
