Here at Soccer Shots, our goal is to positively impact children's lives and be every child's favorite day. We accomplish this goal by using our engaging children's soccer curriculum (ages 18mo - 8yrs) with a focus on character development. Though we continue to grow, we are still a family business at heart. We treat our employees like a team and the children we coach like our own. We train our coaches in leadership development, communication skills, early childhood education, and sports management. We provide high-quality, foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifetime of soccer.

The job involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with your enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions for children 18 months to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down. Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling. Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots' curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols. Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.

We offer training - a paid comprehensive training program to learn Soccer Shots' curriculum, developmentally appropriate coaching techniques, and best practices. Career progression - opportunities to take on full-time roles or internships in program coordination, coach management, marketing, partnerships, and more. Our coaches aren't just about teaching soccer; they're the smiling faces of our brand, delivering the unique Soccer Shots experience.

Benefits/perks include: $18 per 3045-minute class (starting rate), 30+ classes per week, seasonal performance-based bonuses, paid 12-week training at $12/session, gas reimbursement if outside of territory assigned, career and growth opportunities, leadership training, most supportive team, and best culture, you've ever experienced. Requirements include: must be at least 18 years of age, reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License, pass our background check, valid work visa or authorization to work in the US, coaching or childhood education experience preferred, and availability for Mon through Friday time slots 9am-12pm | 3-6:30pm AND Saturday mornings from 8:45am - 12:00pm.

A day in the life includes safely managing a class of up to 12 children, implementing our curriculum which focuses on skill and character development, arriving on-time to your locations and providing a positive customer experience to faculty and families, maintaining equipment and managing your class rosters, and going home knowing you made a difference.

Hours: Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM Saturdays: 8:45 AM - 12:00 PM

1. We put every Soccer Shots coach through our comprehensive training program to receive certification that includes learning the use of developmentally appropriate coaching techniques.
2. Our coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training.

We use expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards:

1. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building.
2. Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced and licensed soccer coaches.
3. We constantly re-evaluate and update our curriculum to stay current with childhood education standards.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
