E-Commerce Buyer
The E-Commerce Buyer role entails managing the procurement of components, materials, and equipment, with an emphasis on large volume e-commerce purchasing. This position requires a deep understanding of vendor management, inventory control, market research, and cost analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes for components, materials, and equipment.
- Focus on large volume e-commerce purchasing.
- Conduct vendor management and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Perform inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze costs to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address supplier-related quality, design, or manufacturing issues.
Essential Skills
- Procurement expertise with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- E-commerce operations and vendor management proficiency.
- Inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- ERP and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Problem-solving and adaptability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
- Experience in strategic sourcing and market analysis.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Critical thinking and creativity under pressure.
Work Environment
The role is fully onsite in Oxnard, CA, with flexible schedules starting as early as 6 am to 3:30 pm or 7 am depending on the situation. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
