Door Shop Technician

As a Door Shop Technician, you will be responsible for assembling pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16". Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble pre-fabricated doors according to work order specifications.
• Read and interpret measurements accurately to 1/16" using a tape measurer.
• Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Use power tools such as hand tools, mills, saws, and joiners.
• Operate pneumatic tools including nail guns.
• Collaborate with a team to create and build products.
• Prepare finished orders for shipment.
• Lift and handle up to 60lbs as needed.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in assembly and mechanical tasks.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.
• 1+ years of experience working with hand and power tools, including rulers or measuring tapes.
• 3+ years of steady employment history.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and manipulate up to 60 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in woodworking or a similar environment is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
