Chartwells K12 is seeking a Director Of Dining Services to oversee operations for our long tenured partnership with Kimberly Area School District in Kimberly, WI, serving approximately 5,000 students across 8 schools and 7 buildings. The program includes breakfast, lunch, and a small catering component, supported by a team of 36 hourly associates and an administrative assistant. The district food service program is known for running like a "very well-oiled machine," making this an ideal opportunity for someone who values structure, teamwork, and a balanced schedule with (pending the needs of the business) no nights, weekends, or holidays, and a light summer focused on planning, scheduling, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire our team.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
• Assist with annual budget and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree highly recommended, or equivalent experience in K-12 food service.
• Three plus years of foodservice management experience.
• Solid understanding of high-volume food production and catering trends is preferred.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
