DevOps Cloud Engineer

Must Have Technical
Functional Skills 15 years of experience with PaaS offerings from major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Hands-On experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Working experience with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience in building CICD pipeline using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
Proficient in creating build pipeline with expertise in Github Actions creation and support, build reliability, and improvements in containerization.
Observability expertise in implementation and improvements with service monitoring and alerting using Datadog, creation of dashboards, and detection of issues pre-deployment.
Supporting teams with process improvements to reduce feedback time (quicker build, faster deploys), tutoring service developers with IaaC, and exploring new techniques and tooling.
Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and troubleshooting experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Roles Responsibilities
Deploying, configuring, and managing applications on PaaS environments ensuring they are running efficiently and reliably.
Administering and optimizing cloud resources, including storage, databases, and networking components, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Utilizing tools like CloudFormation and Terraform to manage infrastructure through code Ensuring the security and compliance of PaaS environments by applying security patches, configuring monitoring, and adhering to security policies.
Monitoring and visualization of system performance using Grafana acts as a central hub for monitoring various aspects of a DevOps infrastructure, including server metrics, application logs, and network performance.
Monitoring and alerting, checking availability, particularly effective for cloud-native applications and containerized environments using Prometheus or Icinga.
Identifying and resolving issues related to infrastructure and applications.
Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth deployments.
