Trillium Professional is now seeking a Design Release Engineer for work in Auburn Hills!

The Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, advance product & quality planning, and production release of a system/component within Fuels Systems: Fuel/Urea tanks and fuel/urea delivery modules.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is required. Proficiency in English (write, listen, and speak) is a requirement. BSME degree from ABET accredited university/or equivalent is preferred. 2 - 4 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA. Will consider an internship with Fuel Systems (UREA also considered) as part of that experience. Self-starter with strong leadership, communication & organizational skills and demonstrated problem solving ability. Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%. Will be required to drive a company car. A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record. Products: Fuel tanks, Urea (SCR) Tanks, Fuel delivery modules, Urea Delivery Modules, Gas and Diesel Filters. Preferred Requirements: Automotive product engineering experience. Injection molded/Blow molded Fuel/Urea tank design. Knowledge of fuel tank virtual simulations is highly recommended. PHEV experience is recommended - Fuel Delivery Module design is recommended. Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R). Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred Belt certification. General understanding of fasteners/torque. General understanding of GD&T. General understanding of NX, Teamcenter, PLM.
