Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Dermatology
Job Details:
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills while working independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals• Provide comprehensive dermatological care with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention• Manage a wide scope of diagnoses including acne, eczema, hair loss, lesions/spot checks, psoriasis, rashes, skin cancer, and warts• Perform 8-10 minor procedures daily including biopsies, injections, cryotherapy, and excisions• See approximately 14-15 patients per day• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm• Collaborate with a team of Advanced Practice Clinicians, Physicians, and support staff• Maintain high level of customer service to establish positive relationships with patients and colleagues• Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program• Minimum of 2 years experience in Dermatology care preferred• Maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota• Maintain current CPR certification or complete BLS certification within 90 days of hire• Successfully complete credentialing process prior to practice• May be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation
