Delivery Team Lead

The Delivery Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to deliver orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.

Responsibilities include managing a group of 15-23 delivery drivers (CDL certified), answering field customer calls regarding deliveries and ensuring 100% customer service, ensuring store delivery time windows are met daily, working proactively with sales representatives and warehouse operations to understand the needs of the customers and sales force, coaching, leading and developing drivers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity via gate-to-gate route rides twice a week, minimum, maintaining process improvement to further enhance productivity of deliveries, ensuring compliance with the Department of Transportation and PBC safety standards, conducting team meetings and safety training to ensure that preventive measures are enforced, demonstrating strong oral, written and interpersonal skills, possessing very strong organizational and prioritizing skills, having a highly developed sense of urgency, and demonstrated results in improving business performance through leadership.

Compensation and benefits include an expected compensation range between $59,400 - $92,600, location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary, a bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out quarterly, paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement, and a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees, a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience, ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends, valid class A, CDL driver's license required, must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically, this position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States, and a safe driving record strongly preferred.
