Key Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the tractor-trailer for any defects, completing the necessary DOT inspection report.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and securely store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Safely operate the tractor-trailer to assigned destinations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain accurate driver logs (either manually or through Peoplenet) as per DOT regulations, including delivery details and conditions.
• Unload products and deliver them into customer premises.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) is required.
• At least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience necessary.
• Must satisfy McLane's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and risk ratings.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks safely and effectively, including adhering to safety protocols.
