As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design systems in support of Navy missions. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize data links and crypto devices. You'll develop your skills in system analysis and design while gaining experience in Navy mission sets. You Have:
4+ years of experience with the design and development of command and control (C2) systems, weapons systems, and data links
4+ years of experience with information assurance and systems engineering, including system assessment, design definition, system specifications, integration and interoperability, T&E, and logistics, in support of C4ISR requirements
Experience with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and analysis of new and emerging technologies, and advising on interoperability and technical solutions
Ability to develop and maintain documentation, specifications, and drawings, and advise in collaboration meetings, including management, design, and technical reviews
Ability to interact directly with clients and stakeholders and operate on a collaborative, cross-functional team to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results through written and verbal presentations
Ability to develop program-level documentation, including briefings, white papers, and transition plans, as well as coordinate and facilitate technical exchanges and conduct high-level operational planning
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT II Certification within 90 days of hire date
Nice If You Have:
Experience with emergent technologies
Experience with engineering of solutions for digital communications, signals intelligence, and radio frequency (RF) communications
Experience managing engineering and integrating requirements through DoD processes, architectures, and frameworks
Knowledge of Software-defined Radios or Tactical Data Link products
Ability to think critically and analytically, problem solve, and work independently
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
DoD 8140 IAT II Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
