Role: Custodial Staff Member

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Hours: Mon-Fri (2:30-11pm)

Location: 116 South Aberdeen Ave Wayne PA 19087

Responsibilities:

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks consistently to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear for all cleaning duties.
• Complete cleaning assignments within the established schedule.
• Report any equipment or cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in all areas, including classrooms and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas thoroughly.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Respond promptly to alerts and requests through the paging system.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial/janitorial work, especially in a school environment, is a plus.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with consistency.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around food and various cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
