Schedule : Full-Time/Day

Shift : 3/12's Thursday (7:00am-7:00pm) Saturday (7:00am-7:30pm) Sunday (8:30am-10:30pm)

Location : North Pinellas

The role you'll contribute :

Performs a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgement and initiative as required in the application of ionizing radiation for CT Scanning and Xray procedures. Be responsible for designated areas, policies, and equipment. Responsible for primary modality and a minimum of one additional modality.

• Proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures, on all age groups regardless of age, race or sex, while providing efficient and courteous care.

• Reports and resolves customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Works with radiology staff and other departments, (ED, OR, Main Department etc.) to facilitate coordinated patient care.

• Efficient utilization of supplies and resources including recognizing and reporting of equipment malfunction of equipment to prevent costly repair.

• Complies with governing body standards and directives.

• Follow patient identification / verification process prior to performing exam or procedure.

• Demonstrates evidence of continuous professional development.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High School Grad or Equiv

• 1 Experience

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT)

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
