You'll be integral in troubleshooting basic equipment, participating in quality assurance, and resolving any image processing challenges. • Execute examinations and procedures to support patient throughput effectively and efficiently.

• Ensure timely scanning and correct storage of completed exams in PACS.
• Function as a PACS Superuser, following protocol for downtime and troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to management and biomedical personnel for resolution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or a recognized equivalent.

Experience:

• Preferred one year of CT experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic computer skills are essential.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Certification in one primary modality is required:
• Radiography (R) by ARRT.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB.
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB is required within one year of hire (CT is required upon hire in the state of New Mexico).
• State Licensure necessary:
• Texas: MRT by TMB.
• Louisiana: LRT (R), (N), or (F) by LSRTBE.
• New Mexico: CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED.
• BLS certification is required.
