Summary:

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your role will involve performing a diverse range of routine and advanced imaging procedures while supporting fellow imaging technologists. We are looking for someone who can facilitate smooth patient flow, demonstrate flexibility in shifts, and adapt to different campuses as necessary. Proficiency in troubleshooting basic maintenance, engaging in quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing will be vital. You will also be expected to pursue ongoing education and stay updated on safety and technical advances within your scope of practice. Adherence to imaging competencies and alignment with our organization's mission and values are essential.

• Comply with State and Federal regulations, hospital protocols, and standards of care.
• Conduct necessary examinations to optimize patient throughput based on your competency.
• Display flexibility in shift work and assignments at other campuses.
• Ensure exams are accurately scanned and stored within the PACS system.
• Act as a PACS Superuser, following downtime procedures and escalating issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, timely report to management, and follow up appropriately.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or an equivalent.

Experience

• Preferred 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Basic computer skills are essential.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Radiography (R) by ARRT is required.
• CT certification by ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• State Licensure – Texas MRT by TMB required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
