CT Technologist - Evening Shift

Position Available: Regular full-time evenings, Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

Location: SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis, MO

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000, paid in full on first paycheck!

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $30.91, with daily pay options available.

Evening Shift Differential: Additional $2/hr

Job Summary: As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing advanced computerized tomographic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. To fulfill your responsibilities, you will need to perform at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary procedures, watchman placement, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients, accurately selecting anatomic and technical parameters.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the laws and standards of practice.
• Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any abnormalities and suggesting refinements to protocols.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness while performing all duties.
• Other duties as assigned to support the department.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent vision and depth perception for tasks near and far.
• Effective communication skills to convey important information.
• Frequent lifting and moving of patients and objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of heavier objects and physical maneuvers involved in patient care.

Required Certifications:

Must obtain ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification is also required.
