KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures autonomously, ensuring high-quality technical results.
• Gather patient histories, explain standard procedures, and address any patient concerns.
• Generate computerized tomographic and conventional radiographs as per departmental procedures.
• Conduct various technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Operate equipment safely, developing and documenting PACS imaging per SimonMed standards.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with fellow employees and medical staff.
• Utilize established practices and procedures, relying on experience and judgment to achieve goals.
• Work effectively with general supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A.R.R.T. registration as a Radiography Technologist is required.
• State certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist is mandatory.
• Current hands-on CPR certification is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This role may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, and walking.
