Position based in Largo, FL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform CT procedures independently while ensuring the highest technical standards.
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address any patient concerns effectively.
• Produce high-quality computerized tomographic radiographs of specific areas as per departmental procedures.
• Handle various technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Regulate equipment for the optimal exposure of x-ray films, and develop and document PACS imaging accurately.
• Operate equipment safely while complying with SimonMed's standards for various procedures.
• Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and facility staff.
• Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Utilize experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals effectively.
• Work under general supervision while being adaptable to changing duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration as a Certified Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist by the state is required.
• Certification as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T. is a must.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, along with frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business casual or scrubs, depending on department requirements.
