CT Imaging Technologist

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and position patients for CT imaging procedures.
• Clearly explain procedures and processes to patients to ensure their comfort.
• Adjust imaging equipment controls to achieve optimal imaging results based on specific patient needs.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard both patients and staff.
• Perform specialized diagnostic radiology procedures and ensure image quality and identification.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions of radiologic equipment.
• Follow established protocols for various scans while ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in NY.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• 2+ years of experience in Radiology.
• Ability to work independently in a CT environment.
