ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform CT procedures independently without the need for constant supervision on technical details.
• Gather patient history, explain procedures, and address any patient concerns.
• Produce computerized tomographic images of specific areas in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Engage in a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation to identify pathology.
• Regulate equipment settings for x-ray film exposure and document PACS imaging accurately.
• Ensure safety while operating equipment and maintain standards during all procedures.
• Foster a rapport and professional relationship with colleagues, facility staff, and other departments.
• Understand and adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Utilize experience and judgment to effectively meet job-related goals.
• Work under general supervision and complete additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration as a Certified Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist is required.
• Must hold RT and CT Technologist registration by the A.R.R.T.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification is mandatory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, and frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business casual or scrubs, depending on department requirements.
