CT Imaging Technologist

Location: UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, US:CO:Longmont

Department: LPH CT

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Weekend Days

Pay: $38.84 - $54.38/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
• 2 years of experience.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire.

As a CT Tech Lead, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Reviewing patient histories, initiating CT imaging as per physician orders, and prioritizing patient education to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administering contrast media while monitoring patient conditions.
• Responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Implementing techniques to ensure clarity in images and equipment functionality, adhering to best practices in Radiology.
• Handling 3-D post processing and managing scan results.
• Monitoring and coaching team members on productivity and quality.
• Assisting in coordinating services and prioritizing assignments for efficient workflow.
• Taking lead on complex issues, providing guidance to the team.
• Overseeing equipment quality control and maintenance.
