Department: CT Scan

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State licensure if required by law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. The BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days post hire.

Role Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient history and initiating CT imaging based on physician orders.
• Providing clear procedural education to patients for enhanced understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administering contrast media or related medications while monitoring patient conditions.
• Actively reporting any changes in patient conditions as needed.
• Implementing best practices to maintain clarity in imaging, quality control, and equipment functionality as established by the AART.
• Possibly performing 3-D post processing and managing the transmission and reporting of scan results.
