ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct CT procedures competently without the need for constant oversight.
• Gather patient history, explain procedures clearly, and address any concerns.
• Create high-quality computerized tomographic imaging as outlined by departmental protocols.
• Handle a variety of technical procedures involving ionizing radiation to identify pathology.
• Manage equipment settings for optimal exposure and maintain accurate PACS documentation.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment while adhering to SimonMed standards for all procedure types.
• Establish and cultivate a positive professional rapport with colleagues and facility staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency with industry standards, practices, and procedures.
• Utilize experience and judgment to set and achieve goals effectively.
• Operate with general supervision and complete assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Certified Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist as required by the State.
• Must hold registrations as an RT and CT Technologist from the A.R.R.T.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, as well as prolonged sitting, frequent standing, and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs, depending on departmental requirements.
