ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform CT procedures at a technical level requiring minimal supervision of technical details.
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as mandated by departmental protocols.
• Execute various technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purposes of pathology detection.
• Regulate equipment to expose x-ray film, while developing and documenting PACS imaging.
• Safely operate equipment and adhere to SimonMed standards while performing various procedures.
• Foster and maintain respectful, professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and facility staff.
• Utilize familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Rely on personal experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
• Work under general supervision.
• Perform duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be registered as a Certified Radiologic Technologist and Computed Tomography Tech by the State.
• Must hold registration as an RT and CT Technologist from the A.R.R.T.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification is required by SimonMed Imaging.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, and frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
