Hourly Range: $36.73 - $60.93

In this position, you will:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform a variety of treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting care as per company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to effectively assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in your patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and maintain a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools with the ability to apply them for departmental and patient care quality improvement.
