Responsibilities:

• Partner with clinical staff to provide a mobile, on-site, face to face therapeutic response to youth experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
• Participate with crisis team clinicians, psychiatry, and other ESP staff as a member of a multi-disciplinary team devoted to linking the youth and their family to the appropriate level of care.
• Partner with guardians and family to assist them in engaging in the crisis intervention process, providing support, education, and linkage to community resources.
• Act as a bridge between families, agencies and community supports.
• Assures families full involvement in crisis intervention services including team's adherence to "family voice and choice".
• Be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Recognize and seek consultation as needed. Develop a training plan to enhance ongoing growth.

Qualifications:

• Grade C02: Crisis Support Worker I: Associates degree in a human services related field from an accredited school and one (1) year of experience working with youth/families; or High School diploma, HiSet or GED and a minimum of two (2) years' experience working with youth/families.
• Grade C04: Crisis Support Worker II: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or social work required.
• At least one year of experience working with youth and families in a mental health setting.
• Experience in navigating and working with any of the child/family serving systems or teaching other parents/caregivers to navigate such systems.
• Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.
• Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are highly encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
