Position Summary

Assists in maintaining information in Credentialing databases. Reviews and validates provider information against business and credentialing requirements. Performs support for extensive research and analysis of sensitive provider issues and communicates data integrity issues. Follows established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Credentialing function, under general supervision. Develops effective relationships with all team members to discuss Credentialing requirements, in order to effectively resolve issues and prevent delays in service. Contributes to the development of credentialing processes and workflows, and identifies improvement opportunities, enhancements, and solutions. Researches and prepares risk-sensitive and complex credentialing verification, and reviews completed investigative files.

Required Qualifications

Prior Relevant Work Experience: 1-2 years in Medical Staff Credentialing

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing processes, along with excellent organizational, communication skills. Ability to problem solve and work independently. MDStaff experience. NAMSS Certification (Not Required)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
