Crane Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Crane Technician with a strong safety mindset to perform inspections and service work. The role involves conducting OSHA compliance inspections and preventative maintenance on various types of overhead cranes and hoists. The technician will also diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment, making necessary electrical and mechanical adjustments or repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform OSHA compliance inspections and preventative maintenance on overhead cranes and hoists.
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment.
• Make electrical and mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
• Work at heights and in extreme temperature and noisy environments.
• Communicate any major discrepancies or safety issues with the customer.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with peers, management, and support resources.
• Commit to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Electrical and preventive maintenance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience preferred, but willing to consider green candidates.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work off the ground and not afraid of heights.

Work Environment:

Work in a machine shop environment that may not be climate controlled, with typical hours from 7am to 3pm and occasional Saturdays as needed. Be part of a 10-person service tech team, with the main facility located in Neenah, WI. Expect to work an average of 45-50 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $95000.00/yr.
