- Prepare and cook meals according to menu guidelines, dietary restrictions, and resident preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sanitizing cooking equipment and surfaces.
- Ensure food safety and compliance with infection control procedures.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with dietary staff to meet nutritional standards and ensure resident satisfaction.
- Serve meals in a friendly and welcoming manner, fostering a positive dining experience.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Previous experience with food preparation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care tailored to the age-related needs of residents.
