Conveyor Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in warehouse operations and logistics, is seeking a Conveyor Mechanic to join their team. As a Conveyor Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay Range: $25-$30 an hour based on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday - 6am to 2:30pm, on call some nights

What's the Job?

• Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of warehouse conveyor systems and equipment
• Provide 24-hour on-call support to ensure system sustainability and minimize downtime
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, diagrams, and sketches to perform maintenance and resolve malfunctions
• Collaborate with the Facility & Maintenance Manager to resolve work issues and improve system operations
• Assist in maintaining the safe operation of material handling equipment used in the warehouse

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude with 2+ years of professional experience in warehouse maintenance or related field
• High school diploma, GED, or maintenance certification
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Certification to operate and repair Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
