Our client, a leader in the pet food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Controls Programmer to join their team. As a Controls Programmer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Programmer
Location: Bloomsburg, PA
What's the Job?
- Plant floor programming with Automation PLCs.
- Designing and programming of computer-based HMI interfaces.
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor modifications to controls server systems.
- Managing plant electrical control programs, documentation, and drawings.
- Providing training and support to maintenance personnel and other engineers at the site.
- Minimum 2-year A.S. degree in electrical technology or comparable experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing including hands-on exposure to electrical maintenance and controls programming.
- Experience with PLC controls, HMIs, and Networks.
- Strong skill set in reading and interpreting electrical and control schematics.
- Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, OSHA, and applicable NFPA standards.
- 401(k) contributions can begin on day 1 with a 6% match after 1 year.
